All of our flavored syrups come ready-to-use. You do not need to add sugar or water to the syrup. Simply open the bottle, pour and enjoy. With ready-to-use syrups, no mixing or additives are required. All you have to do is open the bottle of syrup, pour and enjoy. Concentrates are for mixing your own syrup at home and are primarily only used in shaved ice or snow cone businesses. When using concentrates, you first make your own simple syrup at home using sugar, water and preservatives. Next, concentrate is added to flavor the syrup. What is a bottle pourer and why do I need it?
A bottle pourer is plastic pouring device that fits in the end of our quart long neck bottles. The bottle pourer helps to control the flow of syrup as you pour. Without a bottle pourer it can be difficult to add syrup to a cup of shaved ice.
We sell our ready-to-use syrup in plastic quart bottle, plastic gallon jugs and in 5 gallon pails.
Do you sell smaller bottles of syrup?
The smallest size bottle that we sell is a quart. We have found that we can produce quarts at much cheaper prices per ounce than we can smaller bottles.

What is the Homemade Ice Cream Kit?
Our Homemade Ice Cream kit comes with a quart of our "Secret Homemade Ice Cream Mix" along with a can of evaporated milk. Once the Homemade Ice Cream Mix and evaporated milk is combined, the flavor will have a creamy vanilla type taste. The mixed flavor gives shaved ice a smooth creamy texture that resembles the old fashioned style of homemade ice cream. Instructions on combine the ingredients are included.
Once the mix and evaporated milk is combined, the flavor must be refrigerated and will keep for 5 to 7 days.
Does your syrup need to be refrigerated? What is the best way to store syrups?
To maximize shelf life, we suggest storing our syrups and concentrates at room temperature out of direct sunlight. The concentrates do not have to be refrigerated. However, refrigerating the syrups will increase the shelf life of the syrups by a few months.
Do you sell syrup pumps for quarts and gallons?
We stock pumps for our gallon jugs only. At this time we do not stock pumps for our quart bottles.
Our ready-to-use syrups will have a 6 to 9 month shelf life for all of the flavors. A "use by date" will be found on the label in the lower right corner. To maximize shelf life, we suggest storing syrups at room temperature out of direct sunlight. The syrups do not have to be refrigerated. If you choose to refrigerate the syrups, the shelf life may be extended by a few months.
The amount of syrup used per serving will vary depending on the size of the serving, the texture of the ice and the setting of the ice shaver blade. Coarser ice will take less syrup as fluffy ice. It will take around 1 to 2 ounces of syrup to flavor 1 eight ounce serving of shaved ice produce by our machines. Thus, you should be able flavor around 20 to 25 servings per bottle. You should be able to get around 80 servings out of one gallon.
