The Hawaiian Snow Cone Machine (S700) shaves ordinary household ice cubes taken directly from your freezer. The snow that it produces is crunchier than the Hawaiian Shaved Ice Shaver (S900A). The S700 Hawaiian Snow Cone Machines kid friendly design makes it the safest machine to use around kids.

The Hawaiian Shaved Ice Shaver (S900a), shaves small round blocks of ice. Each S900A Hawaiian Shaved Ice Shaver machine comes with 2 round, plastic, ice molds in which you use to freeze your own ice blocks. Each ice block will yield around 2 eight-ounce servings. The ice produced by the Hawaiian Shaved Ice Shaver (S900A) is smoother and fluffier than the ice produced by the Snow Cone Machine (S700). The S900A Hawaiian Shaved Ice Machine will accept regular ice cubes however it is not recommended.

Each machine performs equally as well as the other as well as dissembles for easy use. If you desire a smoother ice, we suggest the Hawaiian Shaved Ice Shaver (S900A), if you are more concerned about convenience, we suggest the Hawaiian Snow Cone Machine (S700).
